Naked Eyes is perhaps one of my favorite bands of the 80's ,sadly keyboardist Rob Fisher passed away in 1999. Pete Byrne (vocals for Naked Eyes) continued writing music and in 2001 released "The Real Illusion." I've seen this cd going for nearly $30.00 so I'm guessing it's out of print, some people love the cd ,some say it's just o.k., I like the direction Pete took the cd, abit of synth dance and some very nice slow tunes as well, interesting covers as well, nice cd to play in the ...

A CD I had to have when I was browsing about in Singapore a few years back, Roland Gift, the once lead vocals for Fine Young Cannibals, Unfortunantly this is no FYC album, It is definitely missing that certain pop zip appeal, whatever that means...I don't think David Steele and Andy Cox were part of this album, oh well... maybe it will grow on me eventually. I'll give it a few more spins in the car while I have it out of the closet.
